Beijing WTown is celebrating its annual temple fair with traditional folk activities such as cross-talk, shadow plays and lantern shows. Lunar New Year falls on Feb 5 this year.
Tourists can learn how to make paper-cuts for window decorations and write Spring Festival couplets. They can also play winter sports like driving bumper cars on ice and soak in a natural hot spring.
The town's night view is picturesque, with lightings along the nearby Simatai section of the Great Wall. The fair ends on Feb 19.
